EXCELON 210 is an FDA / CVM approved detergent blend designed for use in caustic CIP cleaning applications. EXCELON 210 may be used to aid in cleaning fermentors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, pipes, lines, and any other areas caustic CIP is used. It carries FDA / CVM approval for discharge into mash, contains superior defoaming power to potentially eliminate the need for additional defoamers, and can potentially reduces your caustic usage by 25-50% (based on current use levels). By improving the cleaning power and potential of your CIP solution, you will clean more effectively and thereby also potentially reduce or eliminate the need for additional costly antibiotics. EXCELON 210 has been tested safe with the most popular yeasts and enzymes.
CAMCO-WET XDF is an extremely low-foaming detergent blend designed for use with CIP cleaning applications where enhanced cleaning and rinsing properties are required with foam control and reducing capabilities. CAMCO-WET XDF possesses the ability to be added directly to 50% liquid caustic soda and remain stable for up to a year. This product offers excellent cleaning performance with high alkali stability not found in other products.

In each video the beaker on the left contains a straight 5% caustic solution. The beaker on the right contains 2.5% caustic - 1/2 AS MUCH - and a small percentage of Camcowet. The soil penetration video uses small paper samples to visualize how quickly the solution with the CAMCOWET penetrates or soaks into the fibers - you can literally see it happen. The same concept is seen in the cloth penetration video causing the solution to 'break in to' the cloth fibers, fully soak them and allow the skein to sink. These videos will give you a visual demonstration of what your caustic solution, with a little CAMCOWET or EXCELON, can do to the soils in your fermentor, column, evaporator, heat exchanger, and lines. As an added bonus to the improved cleaning power of your CIP caustic, your foam levels will be drastically reduced.
FOAM DOWN FG is a food-grade, kosher approved non-silicone defoamer designed for foam control in aqueous systems where silicone is not desired or tolerable. FOAM DOWN FG is useful in the fermentation, food processing, electronics, and wastewater industries. It is also helpful as a direct additive for applications such as wash water. It has also recently been effective at foam control directly in ethanol fermentors where silicone may create problems in the fermentor or downstream. FOAM DOWN FG is a very powerful defoamer with a wide range of applications.
